The Hubbard County Transfer Stations will now accept used ink cartridges and laser cartridges to be recycled. They can be dropped off near the household hazardous waste areas.

Most major brands are accepted to be recycled, but please note that Epson® cartridges are not accepted with this program. Other items that are not accepted include liquid ink tubes, bottles, and jugs, printer ribbon, and toner bottles, tubes, and tanks.

The household hazardous waste reuse area (paint area) and the reuse bunker are now open at the south transfer station. If you are in need of paint, stains or other household products, visit the reuse area to see if you can find what you are looking for.

The north transfer station is also now accepting household hazardous waste and paint, but the reuse area will remain closed at this time.

You can still join Hubbard County’s organics program. This is a great way to compost your food waste and avoid disposal in a landfill. If you wish to register, you can visit the south transfer station or register online at co.hubbard.mn.us/waste.
