On Saturday, the 4th of July, we started home after a very enjoyable week long vacation at Isle’O Dreams Lodge. A few miles into our trip home on the Lake George road, a tire on our boat trailer completely disintegrated. We pulled to the side of the road and began the process of changing the tire. It soon became evident that our equipment was not going to get the tire changed. At this point a group of good hearted people came to our aide.
A special thank you to the two deputies from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, the gentleman in the Cumber Construction pickup, Nick’s Service, the Auto Service Department at Walmart, and our good friends from the lake. They all provided assistance including moral support when we needed it and got us back on the road in a timely matter. We have been vacationing in Hubbard County for over 30 years, and it is nice to know there are such helpful and caring people in the county. David and Linda Johnson Lake Wilson
