Katherine Louise Craven, age 69, of Park Rapids, MN passed away on June 12, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family.

Katherine was born May 17, 1951 to Harry and Helen (Olson) Anderson in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Central High School in 1968. On August 22, 1975 she was united in marriage to Jim Craven.

After raising her family she worked in sales for Muhall’s Nursery. In 2013, after living in Omaha for 61 years, she moved with her husband to Park Rapids, MN where they purchased a home on beautiful Little Mantrap Lake. They loved lake life. Katherine also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, scrap-booking, and gardening.

Katherine is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jim; two sons, David Craven and Christopher Craven, both of Omaha; daughter-in-law, Jenny Craven of Omaha; her grandson, Chase Brush of Waterloo, NE; and numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Helen; and her brother, James Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Cease Family Funeral Chapel in Park Rapids, MN from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the Lutheran Church of the Master in Omaha, NE, with Pastor Kip Tyler officiating. Visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Flowers can be sent to the Lutheran Church of the Master at NE Corner of 114th & West Center.
