Bruce Norman Wilson unexpectedly passed away on July 28th, 2021 at the age of 63, at his home in Garden Valley, Idaho. Bruce was born on September 13, 1957 in Park Rapids, MN to Norman and Phyllis Wilson. He graduated from Park Rapids High School in 1975. After he graduated, he joined the Army. After his time in the service, Bruce lived in Park Rapids with his wife, and they had three children. He had multiple jobs working in construction, working for his father at Wilson Trucking, and ended his career at Roma Distribution. He married the love of his life, Tammy Longstreet on June 1st, 2002. Bruce and Tammy moved to Idaho several years ago and enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of mountain life. Bruce loved living life on the edge and was an avid lover of motorcycles and anything to do with the outdoors. Bruce was always a neighbor, handyman, and Mr. Fix-it to anyone in need. Whether or not you needed the help, he was always willing to give his advice on how it should be done. Bruce is survived by his beautiful and loving wife, Tammy. Son of Phyllis Wilson of Detroit Lakes. He was a proud father to three children: Stephanie Wilson of Fridley, MN, Jesse (Susan) Wilson of Cottage Grove, MN and Anthony (AJ) Wilson of Destin, FL. He was a caring stepfather to Ryan and Calvin from Washington state. Bruce was a loving grandpa to nine grandchildren: Kassandra, Haley, Karina, Dylan, Julien, Kylie, Jacob, Lillyana, and Sadie. Brother to Pamela Wilson of Detroit Lakes and Dawn Carlson recently moved to Detroit Lakes. Preceding Bruce in death were his dad Norman Wilson and sister Roxanne. A Memorial Service will be held on August 22, 2021 starting at 11:00 am in the Smokey Hills family land and a luncheon will be hosted 1:00 -5:00 pm at the Park Rapids American Legion. Many in the family will be honoring Bruce by wearing Harley Davidson or camouflage clothing, feel free to join us. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
