Anneka "Anni" Davis

Anneka Elizabeth Davis, 18, of Nevis, passed away unexpectedly due to an accident on July 5, 2019.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 11 at the Bethany Lutheran Church of Nevis, with visitation two hours prior. Interment will be in the Lemon (Badoura) Cemetery. Cease Family Funeral Home of Nevis is assisting the family. www.ceasefuneralhome.com

Anni was born March 22, 2001 in Bemidji, Minnesota to James and Nicole (Rugroden) Davis, and was the younger sibling to Skye and Natalie. She went to a school briefly in Bemidji and graduated High School with the class of 2019 in Nevis.

Anni enjoyed her time in F.C.C.L.A, fishing, long boarding and being with her dog, "July"! Friends and family meant the world to her and her willingness to help anyone who needed her will be greatly missed. Anni would help and be there for those close to her day or night. She strived to make others happy, had an energy that impacted those around her and had a forgiving heart. Her memories, dreams and brief time on this earth will be cherished and held by all who loved her.

Anneka is survived by her parents, James Davis and Nicole Davis; siblings, Natalie Davis and Skye Tikayne; grandmother, LaRae Maddox; grandparents, Dale (Karen) Davis; great-grandfather, Ralph Anderson; great-grandmother, Lois Johnson; cousins, Kaylee Beach, Derek Beach, Ianna Verdoorn, Tyler Verdoorn, Bradley Johnson and Violet Davis; with many aunts, uncles, relatives and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Herbert (Anna) Gack, Elaine Geis, Mickey Rugroden, Arthur Davis, and Linda Goodwin.
