Mike Johnson and Jason Eischens captured the title on Fish Hook Lake while Jeff Berndt and Jason Hochstatter won the title on Long Lake during the annual Fall Slam fishing tournaments.

Johnson and Eischens caught all three species, including a 12-pound northern pike and a 5-pound bass, to top the field with 44.41 points on Sept. 11. Mike Baumgartner and Mike Lohmann also caught all three species of walleye, pike and bass to finish second with 35.58 points.

On Long Lake on Sept. 12, Berndt and Hochstatter also caught all three species, including a 9-pound pike, to finish first with 31.72 points. Baumgartner and Lohmann also netted all three species to finish second in that tournament with 27.50 points.

Rounding out the top five spots on Fish Hook were Jeremy Anderson and Randy Anderson (third), Kenny Barr and Suzie Barr (fourth), and Ron Hughes and Mark Roth (fifth). There were 26 two-person teams that competed on Sept. 11.

Following the leaders on Long Lake were Kelly Condiff and Dennis Daily (third), Terry Mitchell and Larry Strombach (fourth), and Todd Imdieke and Shannon Kalben (fifth). The Long Lake tournament had 20 teams competing.

Johnson and Eischens led the way in the two tournaments with a combined 65.87 points.
