Updated COVID-19 cases in lakes area, Dec. 10

:State reports 89 new COVID-related deaths as infection rate slowly decreases.

Following are the state-listed total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the lakes area, by county, as of Thursday, Dec. 10.

  • Becker: 2,415, up 26 cases since Dec. 9 (24 deaths)
  • Beltrami: 2,439 cases, up 45 cases since Dec. 9 and 3 additional deaths (23deaths)

  • Cass: 1,669 cases, up 23 since Dec. 9 (13 deaths)

  • Clearwater: 595, up 3 cases since Dec. 9 (10 deaths).
  • Hubbard: 1,258, up 6 cases since Dec. 9 and 2 additional deaths (33 deaths).
  • Mahnomen: 340, up 2 cases since Dec. 9 (6 deaths).

  • Norman: 394, up 2 cases since Dec. 9 (8 deaths).
  • Otter Tail: 3,734, up 39 cases since Dec. 9 (34 deaths).
  • Wadena: 966, up 15 cases since Dec. 9 (8 deaths).

In Becker County as of Dec. 10, there were 226 active cases with 2,189 cases no longer contagious, according to Becker County Public Health.
