Adult residents of Becker, Norman and Clearwater counties are among those people eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination on the White Earth Reservation on Friday, according to a notice posted on the White Earth Nation Facebook page. You do not have to be a tribal member or live within reservation boundaries to get the vaccine.
Others eligible for the vaccine are anyone who lives, works or owns property on the reservation; White Earth tribal members (enrolled or descendants); family members in the same household as tribal members; and any North Dakota White Earth enrollee, descendants or households.
COVID-19 vaccinations are available for those age 18 and older on Friday, Feb. 18 at:
- The White Earth Tribal health building from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m..
- The Rice Lake Community Center from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m..
- The Mahnomen Shopko building from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Twin Lakes Fire Hall in Naytahwaush from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Those who have tested positive for COVID-19 must meet all criteria to discontinue isolation.
You will need to wait if you are feeling sick, have a fever, received treatment for COVID-19 in the last 90 days, or are on quarantine due to a recent exposure.
