Zoey is doing just fine.
The 10-year-old white husky mix dog who kept a vigil at the scene of her master's fatal car accident north of Nevis, has a new home.
She went to live with a friend of her late master, Ben "Bud" Kelsey, Mitch Sanderson.
Zoey was riding in Kelsey's pickup in March when Kelsey suffered a suspected heart attack and died behind the wheel. The two were a regular fixture along Nevis' Main Street where they often spent the time watching the town and greeting residents.
On that day in March, the dog refused to let rescue workers remove Kelsey's body until friends arrived at the accident scene on Highway 2 north of Nevis to calm the dog down.

Kelsey's daughter, Wendy Holsapple, said she got calls from the East Coast and around the state from people inquiring about the dog after they read the Park Rapids Enterprise story online.
Sanderson does not have a phone, but the Enterprise reached his friend Willard Hensel.
"The dog's doing fine," Hensel said Monday. "She rides with Mitch every time he goes someplace." "She's doin' real good."
Hensel said Zoey has settled in with Sanderson's other four dogs.
"They all get along great," he said.
