Park Rapids senior Megan Yliniemi capped off her high school golfing career in style at Tuesday's Section 6A meet at Fergus Falls' Pebble Lake Golf Course.
Yliniemi, who qualified for the section meet by tying her career-best with a 103 during the north subsection meet, shot a career-best 93 to finish 17th overall in her first appearance at the section meet.
Park Rapids junior Lexi Aho, who advanced with a 102 at the subsection meet, also played well by carding a 97 for 22nd place at Tuesday's section meet.
Nevis sophomore Jaci Heath followed a 101 at the subsection meet with a 97 for 24th place in her first Section 6A meet. Heath qualified for the state Class A meet last year while playing for Tri-County in Section 8A.
Nevis freshman Savan-nah Stenberg claimed the final section berth with a 105 at the subsection meet, but didn't play Tuesday.

Minnewaska claimed the section title with a 328, which was 25 shots ahead of Staples-Motley. Emily Roer-ing (78), Sarah Roering (78) and Courtney Boe (82) finished among the top-four spots to lead Minnewaska to the title.
Earning the five individual state Class A berths were Cydney Hasselberg of Staples-Motley with an 81, Julia Schock of Staples-Motley with an 83, Sarah Peterson of Osakis with an 87, Nikki Mattfeld of Perham with an 89 and Brooke Keys of Pequot Lakes with an 89.
The state Class A meet will be held Wednesday and Thursday at Izatys Golf & Yacht Club in Onamia.
