Wood duck village

By Shannon Geisen / Enterprise With the assistance of the Mantrap Valley Conservation Club, Park Rapids Girl Scout Troop #330 constructed wood duck houses. MVCC member Dave Gansen shared the importance of these nesting boxes for habitat and hatching.

 With the assistance of the Mantrap Valley Conservation Club, Park Rapids Girl Scout Troop #330 constructed wood duck houses. MVCC member Dave Gansen shared the importance of these nesting boxes for habitat and hatching. Each Scout will place a box in a wooded area near a slough, wetland or lake this spring.
