A woman charged with having sex in a Hankinson bar has been given the same sentence as her male partner, but a judge also ordered that she undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Richland County prosecutors say 21-year-old Adriane Diede, of Breckenridge, Minn., and 23-year-old Joshua Fenske each pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of public fornication.

Judge Richard Grosz sentenced Fenske on Monday and Diede on Tuesday.

Each was sentenced to 32 hours of public service and placed on one year of probation. They also must each pay $850 in fines and court fees.

The judge barred them from using alcohol while on probation and barred them from the Spare Time Bar, where the crime occurred.

Assistant Richland County State's Attorney Ron McBeth says the judge ordered the psychiatric evaluation for Diede. He says it was not a recommendation from prosecutors though they did not oppose it.
