Woman injured in Laporte accident

A Little Rock, Ark. woman was knocked to the ground on June 21 when another vehicle backed into her car.


An Arkansas resident was injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday, June 21 in Laporte.

According to a release from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, the accident was reported at 3:18 p.m.

Arriving law enforcement learned that Camile Lide, 62, of Little Rock, Ark., was loading groceries into the back of her vehicle when a vehicle driven by Mayanah Stone, 24, of Bemidji backed into the front of Lide’s vehicle.

The impact moved Lide’s vehicle, knocking her to the ground, the release stated. Lids received minor injuries from the fall.
