A Fargo woman told police she didn't want to hurt anyone and was only looking to get her son's attention when she used her vehicle to push the vehicle her son was driving into a light pole Saturday night.
That's according to a Clay County District Court complaint charging Corie Elizabeth Metz, 42, 2220 28th Ave. S., with three counts of second-degree assault and one count of fourth-degree DWI, controlled substance.
According to the complaint:
Metz was the driver of a Jeep that chased a Honda Accord that was driven by her son.
When the chase reached a Holiday gas station in south Moorhead, the Jeep pushed the Honda into a light pole, causing damage to the vehicles and trapping a passenger in the backseat of the Honda.
