The winning Jingle Bell tickets have finally been drawn. More than 500 people attended the event Thursday evening at Century School in hopes of landing one of several prizes including door prizes exclusively for those present, one of several 2nd Chance prizes, five $1,000 prizes, and one $5,000 prize. None of the six cash prizes were claimed at the drawing.
All prizes must be claimed by noon on Wednesday, Jan. 2. For the cash prizes, there are ten numbers. The first number is a guaranteed win, if the winning ticket is not claimed then the prize will go to the closest claimed ticket to the number one spot. There were between 600,000 and 700,000 tickets distributed among shoppers, which means there were at least $6-$7 million generated in participating businesses since Nov. 1, when the promotion started.
