A White Earth man was sentenced to 60 months in prison Thursday after pleading guilty to felony third-degree controlled substance crime, sale.
Becker County District Judge Lisa Borgen also imposed a fine of $50.
Libby will get credit for time served, dating to March 2008. He was already serving a 30-month prison sentence on an unrelated domestic violence charge.
According to court records, a confidential reliable informant purchased six bindles of cocaine from Libby and another party on four different occasions in March 2008 from a location on Central Avenue in Detroit Lakes. Each purchase was $300, court documents state.
Testing determined that the total amount of cocaine sold was 9.1 grams.
