Aiden Shea, the West Fargo newborn who received a liver transplant from his father one week ago, continues to make progress.
His father, Chris Shea, was expected to be released from the hospital Monday, according to a post Sunday on the Caringbridge.com Web site for Aiden Shea.
Shea, born Aug. 6, received part of his father's liver in a transplant performed by a team of surgeons at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.
The latest post to the site said Chris Shea will see his son for the first time since the Aug. 17 surgery.
Donations can be made to the Aiden Shea Benefit Fund at any Gate City Bank location.
