The Park Rapids We Decide youth group presents Headwaters Softball Association with a new banner to replace the Miller Lite sign at its April 22 meeting.

The youth group is working to prevent underage alcohol use in Park Rapids, Nevis and Laporte.

Replacing the Miller Lite banner at Olson Fields was an idea born from a project the students completed called Photovoice.

The project involved students taking pictures in their community of things that encourage and discourage youth consumption of alcohol.

Students in We Decide asked the Headwaters Softball Association to replace the banner during school events when many youth are at the softball fields.
