On June 5, 2012 at approximately 9:00 PM, the Cass County Sheriff's Office received a call of an overdue male party who had gone snorkeling on Long Lake. After a brief search by Cass County Deputies, the victim, a 55-year-old Walker man, was located on Long Lake and pronounced dead at the scene. Identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
The case remains under investigation with an autopsy pending.
