WADENA -- A Wadena woman faces a charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim between 13-15 years old.
April Joy Miles, 21, was charged Sept. 18 after police investigated the case starting Sept. 10, Wadena County District Court records said.
Through investigation, the Wadena police officer learned that on or about July 12, Miles had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old boy in the bedroom of her residence. She said she knew he was 14 (she was 20 at the time) and she wrote "had sex with [boy's name]" in her datebook afterward. Miles claimed the boy forced himself on her the first time, but she didn't resist, court records said.
Court records indicated Miles had sexual relations with the boy on multiple occasions throughout the rest of July.
A first appearance was set for Wadena County District Court for Oct. 12.
