A Wadena woman faces a fifth-degree controlled substance crime for allegedly possessing more than 2 pounds of marijuana.

Bond was set at $50,000 (or $5,000 cash bail with conditions) for Barbara Ann Streed, 54. On June 24, officers made a probation compliance check at Streed's home and allegedly found 2 pounds, 10 ounces of marijuana. Streed told officers she was "just holding it for someone." But when the officers returned with a search warrant, they also found several pipes and bongs, marijuana seeds, potting soil, grow lights, an irrigation system, baggies and a digital scale with marijuana residue on it, according to court documents.

Streed has prior controlled substance convictions from 1999 and 1993. Her next court appearance was set for Aug. 17.
