An armed robber held up video rental store Little Hollywood in Wadena Sunday night, according to the Wadena Police Department.
A teenage clerk told officers a suspect walked into the store at 13 Aldrich Ave. SE, brandishing a handgun and demanding the clerk open the till. The clerk complied, and the robber took an undetermined amount of cash, Wadena police said. The suspect then ordered the clerk into the back office, and fled once the clerk was there.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. Sunday.
Police Sgt. Tom Crawford said Monday that his department is actively investigating the crime, including a possible connection with an armed robbery in Perham Sept. 6.
Police aren't currently releasing a description of the suspect.
