A 26-year-old from Wadena faces two charges for allegedly punching a pickup several times.
According to court records, a 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were sitting in an alley behind a Wadena business when Joshua Lyle Neumann, who was acquainted with the girl, approached the truck and tried to open the locked driver's door. Then he punched the window and punched the driver's side of the truck twice, according to court documents, and caused $1,015.20 in damage.
He was charged March 1 in Wadena County District Court with first-degree damage to property and fifth-degree assault -- causing fear.
His first appearance was set for March 22.
