Vivian Marie Crist, 60, of Stanton, Calif., formerly of Park Rapids, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008 at home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Park Rapids Sept. 19, 1948 to Philip and Emma Crist. She attended Park Rapids High School and graduated in May of 1966. She moved to California and worked odd jobs until she got a job at Interstate Federal Credit Union. She worked as a financial manager for 25 years.
She is survived by her special friend, Joan Larrivee of Stanton, Calif.; eight brothers: Phil (Rita) of Helena, Mont., Adrian of Park Rapids, Elton (Krystal) of Chalis, Idaho; Charles (Cheryl) of Park Rapids, Larry (Robert) of Huntsville, Texas, Marvin (Mary) of Lawton, Okla., Richard (Linda) of Las Vegas, Nev. and Jim (Lisa) of Akeley; three sisters: Renee (Ervin) Dudley of Nevis, Carolyn Olson of Dorset and Phylis Cantrell of Horn Lake, Miss.; one sister-in-law, Diane Crist of Montebello, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Allan; one brother-in-law, Ronald "Russ" Olson; one sister-in-law, Janice; and one nephew, Kurt.
Funeral service: Oct. 20 at The Church of Our Fathers.
