Viola Hulda Percival, 84, of Park Rapids, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 at St. Joseph's Area Health Services in Park Rapids.
She was born June 2, 1924 in Wadena County to Louis and Hulda (Nicholson) Hanson. She attended the local country schoolhouse.
She married Keith E. Percival Dec. 31,1941. They lived in Wadena where they raised their family.
In the late '60s, the family moved to Park Rapids, where she's resided since.
She worked at the Ringer Co. in Park Rapids and also as a nurses aide at Heritage Living Center for 20 years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Park Rapids. She volunteered for many years with the Bearing Precious Seeds printing operations.
She is survived by her son, Duane (Luella) of Huntley, Ill.; daughter, Janice Brown of Park Rapids; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969; son-in-law, Alvin Brown; sister, Joyce Wasala; and brother, Ken Hanson.
Funeral: 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the First Baptist Church of Park Rapids. Pastor James Pearce will be the officiant.
Casket bearers: Jeff Percival, Chris Berggen and Alvin Brown Jr.
Interment: Greenwood Cemetery in Park Rapids.
