Cody Johansen, 20. is talking in a slurred manner but hopes to leave North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale later today.

The Enterprised reached him via Facebook Monday morning, 18 hours after he was hauled unconscious from the Park Rapids bull ride he was on Saturday night.

He says he doesn't remember much of the incident but said he hopes to ride again this weekend if doctors perform brain tests that clear him.

The newspaper has received prayers for 20-year-old Cody Johansen and well wishes. He was thrown head first from a bucking bull at the Jokela ProWest Bull Ride.

A second rider, who has not been identified, was taken to CHI St. Joseph’s Health in Park Rapids with what was believed to have been a broken leg.
