Authorities have identified the 53-year-old rural Detroit Lakes man who was killed Saturday after the motorcycle he was riding left the road.
Martin Raymond Wolff, Jr., was riding eastbound on County Road 54 (the Hidden Hills road), about three miles east of Detroit Lakes, when the motorcycle left the roadway and he was thrown off.
He was not wearing a helmet.
Rescue crews were called to the accident at 7:17 a.m. Wolff was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release by the Becker County Sheriff's Office.
