WARROAD, Minn. -- Two Roseau County residents are accused of making meth and bombs in their home.
Lukas Roy Miller, 33, of Roseau, and Brooke Jomar Marvin, 38, of Warroad were formally charged Monday, July 2, with eleven crimes, including manufacturing meth in the presence of a child and possessing explosives with intent.
Investigators received a tip that Miller was making meth, charging documents said. Officers also believed Miller was in possession of bombs or bomb-making material, according to court documents.
On Friday, law enforcement searched Marvin’s residence and found Miller, Marvin and two of her children in the home. They also found what appeared to be a homemade explosive device, but the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Bomb Unit determined it did not contain explosives.
In the home, officers found drug paraphernalia with traces of meth, items believed to be used to make meth, marijuana, hypodermic syringes, bomb parts and a notebook with bomb-making plans, according to court documents.

The items were “open and accessible” to the children, court documents said.
Both have a criminal history that includes drug-related charges in Minnesota. Miller also was convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in 2004. Their next court hearing is scheduled for Monday.
