Three injured in weekend Polk County crash

Three people were injured in a Sunday afternoon accident near Tabor, Minn., according the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

About two miles west of Tabor, Brian Peterson, 56, was southbound and authorities said didn't yield to an oncoming eastbound vehicle driven by 49-year-old Harvey Fischer, and Fischer's vehicle rolled after a collision at about 2 p.m.

Fischer, Peterson and a 20-year-old passenger, Katie Peterson, were all injured and taken by ambulance to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. All three suffered minor injuries and are listed in satisfactory condition, according to the sheriff's office.

The victims' residences or more information about the crash was not available Sunday evening, and the accident remains under investigation.
