Taste of Dorset tempts all palates with fab food

The proclaimed "Restaurant Capital of the World" will be holding their annual Taste of Dorset festival on Aug. 7 to give everyone a chance to enjoy the unique qualities of this little restaurant hot spot.

From pork-on-a-stick to soft shell tacos, there's no shortage of delecrable food at Taste of Dorset.

The proclaimed "Restaurant Capital of the World" will be holding their annual Taste of Dorset festival on Aug. 7 to give everyone a chance to enjoy the unique qualities of this little restaurant hot spot.

The festivities begin at 11 a.m. and go until 3 p.m.

Live music will be played throughout the town and games galore for the kids. Parking is free and transportation is provided from parking areas downtown. The drawing of the yearly mayor of Dorset begins at precisely 2 p.m. and the next year's balloting starts immediately after.

The businesses of Dorset provide a fantastic array of foods and goods from the restaurants and gift shops.

Some of the food options include pizza, tacos, fried chicken, corn on the cob, pies, spaghetti balls, shaved ice, pork on a stick, frozen bananas and so much more.
