Park Rapids City Council member Michael Strodtman has submitted his resignation.
Strodtman will be moving out of Park Rapids, said City Administrator Bill Smith. He was appointed to the council in March to fill the position that was vacated by Ted Godfrey. Strodtman was the former city planner.
In March, the City Council received six letters of interest for the position.
The City Council will discuss how to fill the vacancy at its next meeting Tuesday, Oct. 13.
