The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash August 24 on Highway 71 just north of Sauk Centre.
The crash occurred when a passenger on a motorcycle traveling northbound on Highway 71 fell off the motorcycle near the entrance to the Grey Stone Golf Course. A passing motorist traveling northbound then struck the fallen passenger and proceeded without stopping their vehicle.
The suspected vehicle likely sustained damage to the front bumper area, according to the State Patrol.
