At approximately 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office received a report of a suspicious male subject on County Road 18, four miles west of Nevis.
The male allegedly stopped where two children were waiting for the Nevis School bus. He asked them twice if they would get into his vehicle and offered them a ride. After the children refused the ride, twice, he left, traveling west on County Road 18.
Complainants stated the vehicle was driven by an adult male described as white, middle-aged, having short white hair above the ears, white mustache and beard, medium build and possibly wearing glasses.
He was also wearing a red and black checkered jacket and was driving a silver, four-door vehicle with four round taillights.
