To help push for more economic recovery action from Washington, U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, DFL-Minn. will spend much of this week on a Main Street jobs tour throughout Minnesota. She will meet with business leaders of Park Rapids at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 at the Northwoods Bank community room.
Klobuchar will also meet with State Rep. Brita Sailer this Wednesday to discuss how to move the economy forward and create jobs in Minnesota.
"We all know the economy is in trouble," she said in a news release. "I believe the best response is to create jobs on Main Street and provide the middle class with significant relief while also building a solid foundation for long-term prosperity."
