The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office will be accepting bids on impounded passenger motor vehicles seemed as ‘junk’ and/or scrap vehicles.
These motor vehicles are deemed as scrap or salvage – meaning they have been involved in an accident, will not start/run, have no keys, may not have a title, were abandoned, and/or are not in operable condition. All vehicles will be sold AS-IS and WHERE-IS. No promises, guarantees, or warranties are made regarding the quality or working order of any part of the vehicles. The vehicle may or may not have a title and/or keys. Only cash or cashier’s check payments will be accepted from the winning bidder.
Bids will be accepted in person on Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office Impound Lot, located at the Transfer Station at 812 Henrietta Avenue South, Park Rapids. Bids will only be accepted between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30. The vehicles will be available for inspection during these hours. All bids must be received by 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30.
The auction will be held regardless of weather conditions. The bidder will agree to the terms and conditions listed on the bid sheet that will be presented to them upon entry into the impound lot area.
