A rural Menahga man suffered serious injuries after striking a deer with a motorcycle Sunday night on County Road 18 in Shell River Township.
After the crash, which was reported about 10:15 p.m., a passerby transported Joshua Peterson, 33, to the Huntersville Outpost, according to a Wadena County Sheriff's Office press release. He was later airlifted to a Fargo hospital with serious injuries, the release said.
