The driver was killed Saturday night in a single-vehicle rollover on Polk Countny Road 1 near Fosston, Minn., the sheriff's office reported.
The sheriff's office responded at 11:21 p.m., along with the Minnesota State Patrol, First Care Ambulance and Fosston Fire and Rescue.
The sheriff's office said the car left the roadway, rolled and landed upside-down in a small pond. The driver was transported to First Care Hospital in Fosston and pronounced dead. There were no passengers.
The name of the driver has not been released. The accident remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
