Longtime Hubbard County commissioner Lyle Robinson easily breezed through Tuesday's primary to the general election.

The Dist. 4 representative garnered 195 votes in the race. He will face advertising executive and business owner Marty Steffel in the November election. Steffel was the second highest vote getter, collecting 80 votes.

Cynthia McGrath received 77 votes and George M. Taylor Jr. received 50 votes.

The vote counts are considered preliminary until the canvassing board meets Thursday to certify the totals. Dist. 4 is in rural northeast Hubbard County.
