Road advisories include Highway 87 in Hubbard County

BEMIDJI Minn.- The Minnesota Department of Transportation is warning motorists to be alert to potential hazardous road conditions caused by rapidly melting snow and rain.

BEMIDJI Minn.- The Minnesota Department of Transportation is warning motorists to be alert to potential hazardous road conditions caused by rapidly melting snow and rain.

In northern Minnesota, Mn/DOT has put up warning signs at:

  • Highway 9 south of Crookston from Polk County Road 41 to Polk County Road 45;
  • Highway 9 south of Ada from Norman County Road 179 to Norman County Road 180;
  • Highway 11 west of Birchdale from Koochiching County Road 4 to Koochiching County Road 118; and
  • Highway 87 near Park Rapids from Hubbard County Road 111 to Hubbard County Road 68.

Drivers are urged to slow down and proceed with extreme caution through areas that have water running over. Flooding is difficult to predict and conditions can change rapidly.
