The owner of a Lake Belle Taine resort is in the hospital following an accident on a Bobcat Monday morning.
Pat Swaggert, owner of Campers Paradise, was doing some maintenance work at the resort with Bruce Fritz when he was injured, the Hubbard County Sheriff's department said.
Chief Deputy Jerry Tatro said Fritz was operating the Bobcat and Swaggert was riding on a manlift when the accident occurred.
"Fritz was wiping some water from the windshield and accidentally hit a button" sending the manlift down suddenly," Tatro said.
Swaggert fell off, injuring his ribs. He was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Area Health Services. His condition was listed as good on Tuesday.

The accident occurred about 9:30 a.m. on Edgewater Drive, which is a causeway going across the lake. Nevis Fire & Rescue backed its fire truck up to avoid having to cross the narrow roadway en route.
"It was just an accident, nothing more," Tatro said.
