Lance Bagstad has accepted the position of Park Rapids Area Schools superintendent.
He notified board chair Sherry Safratowich of his decision Wednesday evening.
Bagstad currently serves as superintendent at Renville County West in southern Minnesota.
He is expected to tender his resignation at the Renville School Board meeting Monday evening. The Park Rapids School Board will convene their meeting at 8 p.m. Monday to take official action on hiring Bagstad.
