The Red Bridge Run, a professional and citizen canoe race, will launch at noon Sunday, June 10, sponsored by the Red Bridge Inn and Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.
Citizen class racers, touring and pro racers will paddle a course on the Fish Hook River between Fish Hook Lake and the dam in Park Rapids.
The course length is about five miles for citizens and 10 miles for pros, both finishing at the Red Bridge Inn. Cash prizes will be awarded to the six top finishers in the professional race and trophies will be awarded to the top six finishers in the citizen race.
Those who register by June 1 will receive a T-shirt. The entry fee includes supper.
