The parents of a Red Lake Falls, Minn., elementary student "had an opportunity to comment" Monday night at a school board meeting on their allegations that an older student urinated on their son last week, said Superintendent Joel Young.
"The School Board listened to what they had to say," Young said of the parents' concerns.
But Young would say little else, citing student data privacy laws.
"There is an open and ongoing investigation going on," Young said.
Young said he and other administrators of the school district are carrying out the investigation of the incident, which allegedly happened last week in the school.

Brandeis Olberg said his son, a second-grader in J.A. Hughes Elementary, was in a bathroom at the school when an older student urinated on him.
Olberg's son changed his own clothes at the school and reported the incident to school officials. But Olberg said school officials have not responded appropriately to the alleged bullying.
Young visited Olberg"s home last week to discuss it, Olberg said.
But Olberg, who has two children in the elementary school, pulled them out of the district last week and said they won't return during this school year.
Young said he could not comment on when his investigation into the alleged incident might be completed.
