A rear-end crash on Highway 34 Monday afternoon backed up some traffic but caused no injuries to the drivers involved.
The driver whose car was rear-ended was briefly trapped in the vehicle after the crash, at the intersection of County Road 80, commonly called the Belle Taine Road, east of Park Rapids. The vehicle was pushed down into the south ditch of the highway.
Ambulance personnel responded but did not have to transport either driver.
The crash occurred just after 4:30 p.m. on the busy highway.
