Rear-end crash injures Park Rapids woman

A woman was injured after her vehicle was rear ended by a cement truck Friday in Wadena.

Emergency personnel responded to the report of a crash at noon, Friday, Sept. 13, on Hwy 71 at Garfield Avenue. Upon arrival, Minnesota State Patrol reported a Chevy Trailblazer was stationary in the south bound lane on Hwy 71 when a Volvo semi rear ended the Trailblazer. The driver of the Trailblazer, Susan Ilene Pickett, 60, of Park Rapids, was taken to Tri-County Hospital for minor injuries.

The driver of the semi, Dale Ray Wuollet, 30, or Sebeka, was not injured in the crash.
