A rain/snow mix tonight into morning will test the driving skills of the Hubbard County region.
But we won't get socked by the storm bearing down on the Dakotas and Red River Valley, said National Weather Service meteorologist Tom Grafenauer.
"Hubbard County is on the edge of that precipitation," he said. "You may get 1 to 2 inches when all is said and done."
Accumulations of three or more inches have been forecast for widespread areas west of Hubbard County.
"With the warm surface temperatures, we'll see how much will accumulate," Grafenauer said.

In any event, he said the precipitation, like early Saturday morning, will begin as rain and change over to snow, causing icy roadways by morning.
The region has a 70 percent chance of precipitation late tonight and lesser degrees through the rest of the week.
