The Park Rapids Enterprise will run a series of articles featuring sections of a Progress Park Rapids indicator report over the next several weeks.
The Park Rapids Indicator Report is available at the Web site, www.progressparkrapids.com .
The report assesses the status of the Park Rapids community and includes demographic information.
The report measures key areas: people and talents, economics and prosperity, community wellness and safety, livability and social capital/community readiness.
Data from Detroit Lakes, Bemidji, Brainerd, Alexandria and Grand Rapids was used to help measure Park Rapids against similar communities.

The report includes recommendations for the future and how to improve. "Champions" have been chosen for each of the key areas as contacts for ways to get involved in the community.
Each of the key areas will be looked at over the course of several weeks in each Wednesday's Enterprise.
