On June 6 at approximately 12:42 a.m. the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office received a report that the Potato Lake Lodge and Cowboys and Chrome Saloon, located at 14571 Gazebo Dr, Park Rapids, was on fire.
The business was not open and the building was not occupied at the time of the fire. The building is considered to be a total loss as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office and the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office.
Responding to the fire along with the Park Rapids Fire Department were personnel from the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office and Park Rapids Police Department. The Carsonville and Nevis Fire Departments were called to provide mutual aid in extinguishing the blaze.
