MOORHEAD – Police here are looking to identify a man who was spotted Tuesday night looking around Larry’s RV Sales, the business where the body of North Dakota State University student Thomas Bearson was found Sept. 23. Moorhead police were sent to Larry’s RV Sales about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a suspicious man. An employee told police that the man said he was “just looking” as he walked around the property. When officers arrived, they were not able to find the man, police said. The man was described as about 20 years old, thin and white. He wore a black baseball cap with green writing, a gray T-shirt and blue jeans, police said. It’s not clear what the man was looking for. Police believe his actions were suspicious enough to warrant more investigation, but no link has been made to Bearson’s homicide, which remains unsolved.
