More than 50 kids arrived to have their photo taken with the Grinch (a.k.a. Gene Kanten) and CindyLou Who (Angie Ness-Byer) on Saturday.

Proceeds from freewill donations benefited Support Within Reach, a sexual violences resource center that helps victims in Hubbard County. Hugo’s donated free hot dogs and Coborn’s free candy canes to the event.

Last winter, after the community Christmas tree was knocked down by high winds on Main Avenue, the Grinch and CindyLou placed a modest tree (in a bucket) in its place to save the Christmas spirit.
